How long will it take to review your footage?

Enter how many hours of footage you have and how many moments you need out of it. The calculator shows how long one full viewing takes, and how many tokens it costs to search for those moments instead.

Why one viewing is almost never one

The calculator assumes the best case: you watch everything once, start to finish, and never scrub back. That rarely happens. You pull selects first, then remember the client wanted the shot of grandma by the cake, and you're back in hour three of camera B, so the real review time usually ends up longer than the first number.

Watching at 1.5× or 2× saves time, but at high speed it's easy to miss a short moment: a glance, a gesture, a line said in the background.

How search cost works

Every Rescanzo search costs tokens: Low takes 1 and Mid takes 2. Pro costs 2 tokens plus 1 for every started minute of video the cloud AI checks, so its price can't be known in advance and it isn't in the calculator.

A rephrased query is a new search, so leave room for a couple of extra ones. Before the first search, Rescanzo goes through the footage folder once and builds an index on your computer; how long that takes depends on how much footage there is and on your computer.

What it costs in money

The price of a token depends on the pack or plan; current prices are on the pricing page. A new account starts with 50 tokens, enough to try search on your own footage before you buy anything.

Try it on your own footage

A new account gets 50 tokens: that's 25 searches in Mid mode.
