Concerts: the right shots from a multi-camera recording
A two-hour concert on four cameras is eight hours of footage, and the band wants a clip for social media the next day. Building it usually means going through every camera for the best shots of the same song. Rescanzo lets you describe the shot in words and find it across all cameras at once.
What to describe
A concert clip lives on emotion and detail: “singer at the edge of the stage reaching out to the crowd”, “crowd holding up phone lights”, “close-up of hands on the guitar neck”, “drummer backlit”, “confetti over the crowd”, “wide shot of the stage from above”. Search covers every file in the folder, so one query returns matching moments from every camera.
Stage talk and announcements
In Pro mode Rescanzo searches speech in Russian and English, which works for lines from the stage: “thank you, London”, “this next song is for”. Singing is another matter: speech search is built for talking, so test how it copes with song lyrics on your own footage before relying on it.
Modes and cost
Low costs 1 token a search and is good for quickly checking whether a shot exists. Mid costs 2 tokens and is more accurate, the one to build the final selection with. Both run on your computer, and the price doesn’t depend on how many hours are in the folder. Pro costs 2 tokens plus 1 for every started minute the cloud checks.
Cutting the clip
Selected shots go to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve as a ready timeline with source timecodes, and for CapCut Rescanzo cuts them into separate clips. Syncing to the soundtrack happens in your editing app, as usual.
Questions and answers
Will fans’ phone footage work?
Yes, as long as the files are in a folder added to Rescanzo. Search works with any video files, wherever they came from.
How many tokens does one clip take?
Twenty Mid searches cost 40 tokens, less than the 50 a new account starts with.
Try it on your own footage
A new account gets 50 tokens: that's 25 searches in Mid mode.
