Rescanzo vs Jumper
Both apps search your footage on your own computer, by what's in the frame and by what's said. Where they differ is where they live (a panel inside your editing app or a separate app), which systems they run on, and how you pay.

Where Jumper is stronger
Jumper sits as a panel inside your editing app, so results show up next to the timeline and you don't switch windows. Jumper Pro adds face search, and its speech search covers 111 languages according to the developers, also on your computer. If you cut in Avid Media Composer the choice is easy: Rescanzo has no dedicated Avid export, only generic formats through "Save for another program", while Jumper runs right inside Media Composer. Rescanzo's speech search also covers only Russian and English.
Where Rescanzo is handier
Rescanzo also works with CapCut, cutting found moments into separate clips, and with VEGAS Pro, saving an EDL; neither is on Jumper's list. You pay per search instead of per seat: if you dig through footage a couple of times a month, tokens usually work out cheaper, and the 50 starter tokens are enough to test search on your own footage. Prices are in rubles.
How to choose
If you live in Premiere Pro or Resolve all day and need face search or speech in other languages, start with Jumper. If you cut in CapCut or VEGAS Pro, or only search footage now and then and don't want to buy a license up front, try Rescanzo. Both have a free way in, so the most reliable test is running the same queries on your own footage in each.
